Location Library

Below you will find a selection of my favourite locations for family sessions. We are so incredibly lucky here on the Northern Rivers to have such stunning landscapes right at our back door. Take a look through some of my favourties to see what you would like for your next family session. You may also have your own family property where you would like your session to take place.

I can't wait to see where your next adventure will be!

A Local Farm, Woodview (via Casino)

If you are after a relaxed afternoon, then the farm is the place to be. With an ever changing landscape it is perfect for a private, peaceful space to play and create some new memories with the kids. From long grass to hay bales, cow lined paddocks to whispy willow trees, this gorgeous little spot is just what you need in your life. This farm is exclusively available to my clients, we just ask that no fur babies come along to this location (as this is a sheep and cattle stud property). This spot is perfect for an afternoon session and the sunsets from here are incredible. Off street parking is available.

A Fig Tree Avenue, William Flick Lane, Ewingsdale

This little gem is nestled on a quiet, tree lined avenue of beautiful fig trees at Ewingsdale. This spot is a great spot for family portraits if you are chasing something a little different. This location is great for morning sessions with several areas that are suitable for anytime of the day. There are lots of shade trees and room for the kids to explore safety where mum and dad can keep and eye on them. Off street parking is available.

Chinamens Beach, Evans Head

One of my favourite beaches for family sessions is Chinamens Beach in Evans Head. the beach is a little more secluded than the other beaches in Evans Head meaning your session is that wee bit more private and you are less likely to run into too many people. A lot of diverse spots on the beach with grand headlands, sandy dunes, washed up logs and of course finishing up jumping in the waves with the kids.

Ballina Lighthouse, Ballina

A quiet spot for your photo session perched up on the hill overlooking the pacific ocean, this magic little lighthouse is a unique setting for your family portraits. Best in late afternoon for dreamy sunset skies

Boulders Headland, Lennox Head NSW

On top of the hill and down on Boulders Beach, this gorgeous location is perfect in the morning and afternoon

Flat Rock Beach, Ballina

A great spot in Ballina for family portraits is Flat Rock Beach. Easy to access, plenty of parking and toilets nearby.

Wategos Beach, Byron Bay

A popular beach in Byron Bay, perfect at sunrise or late afternoons. It is tricky to find a car park and is paid parking. Best to arrive earlier wherever possible.
